The main objective of this handbook is to support local trainers and facilitators who are already familiar with climate change and REDD+. It provides them with useful information on gender considerations for climate change and REDD+ related training and capacity development programs.
The handbook consists of a series of 10 questions and answers about different aspects of gender in the context of climate change and REDD+. The questions have been selected based on ongoing discussions on gender integration in climate change and REDD+awareness-raising processes, in the project’s target countries.
