Knowledge Center

Free and open to all, the Community Forestry Knowledge Center houses more than 7,000 publications and digital materials.

Located at RECOFTC's Bangkok headquarters on the campus of Kasetsart University, the Community Forestry Knowledge Center is a library with a comprehensive selection of materials on community forestry, rural development, natural resource management, and similar topics.

Established in 1992, the collection now contains more than 7,000 publications and books, more than 1,000 articles from newsletters and journals, and more than 130 CDs in English and Thai, as well as a selection of materials in other regional languages. To meet the expanding needs of training, teaching and research, the Resource Center started collecting materials on community forestry and natural resource management at inception and is now a regional resource reference center for people working on community forestry, natural resource management and other related topics.

Information on available reference materials is stored in a database that allows retrieval of call numbers, abstracts, titles, authors, publishers, and so on. Visit the Knowledge Center Catalog here.
