ASFCC Planning Meeting

Expert Seminar on Gender, Forestry, Climate Change and REDD+ held in Vietnam

A national level expert seminar on Gender, Forestry, Climate Change and REDD+ was held on 23 April 2013, at Fortuna hotel in Hanoi. The objective of the seminar was to strengthen the integration of gender perspectives into forestry, climate change and REDD+ policies and investment framework.

Kyle Lemle and Maggie Kellogg, Princeton in Asia Fellows at RECOFTC, share highlights from the recent Second Annual Dr. Somsak Sukwong Public Lecture. Focusing on “Community Forestry, Livelihoods and Conservation in Changing Landscapes,” the event was held on 21 March 2013 to celebrate International Day of Forests.
