Pre-conference Activities

Pre-conference activities were held on Monday, 3 September 2007.

Leaders from community associations and federations were invited to meet and discuss their experiences in contributing to policy reform, to identify opportunities to become more effective in contributing to such reforms, and to explore opportunities for sharing and collaboration in the future. In addition, their contributions and role during the conference were discussed in more detail.

In addition, various sessions were held for conference facilitators and note takers, and for RECOFTC staff who were assisting with other aspects of conference organization.
