The ART of Building Training Capabilities

 

Enhancing the participatory training and facilitation skills of NRM facilitators and trainers, is the overall goal of the ART of Building Training Capacities.

 

Important objectives include:

 

  • Increasing the communication and facilitation skills of participants (the foundation skills of a trainer) - observing, listening, questionning, discussion, feedback skills)
  • Developing group centered skills of participants - trust and team building, monitoring group stages and roles, encouraging team work and equal participation and conflict solving.
  • Increasing the participatory planning skills of participants - assessment, designing, planning, management, implementation and monitoring and evaluation.
