RECOFTC Kicks off Regional Training on Agroforestry

Agroforestry for Climate Change Resilient Landscapes held in Nan, Thailand

On 16 July, ICRAF and RECOFTC kicked off a Regional Training on Agroforestry for Climate Change Resilient Landscapes in Nan, Thailand. 23 participants from CSOs, government, development agencies and university academic (across 8 ASEAN countries and Timor Leste) learned about how agroforestry can contribute to climate change resilience in landscapes until 20 July 2018.

During the course, participants were able to analyze the linkages between agroforestry and landscape resilience, use basic agroforestry principles to identify landscape interventions, develop their plan to work with stakeholders and identify criteria and indicators based on agroforestry principles to measure success.
