RECOFTC's Landscapes

At RECOFTC, we take a long-term, landscape-based and inclusive approach to supporting local communities to secure their land and resource rights, stop deforestation, find alternative livelihoods and foster gender equity.

The 10 landscapes across seven countries in the Asia-Pacific where we work are threatened by deforestation, unsustainable practices and climate change. Today, there are new opportunities to further support local communities, government, civil society and the private sector to overcome these threats. We offer entry points for action that will foster prosperous communities and thriving landscapes by capitalizing on the ambitions of local people, RECOFTC’s experience in the Asia-Pacific and the work of many other organizations. Through investments in these landscapes we can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement on climate change. Click on the landscapes below to learn more about opportunities for collaborative action.
