RECOFTC Cambodia
recoftc-map_cambodia

With a long-term, landscape-based and inclusive approach to supporting local communities, RECOFTC Cambodia has been laying the groundwork and enhancing the capacity for community forestry in the country since 2001.

Working with government, civil society, community and other stakeholders, we help strengthen the implementation of sustainable forestry practices in Cambodia. Our work helps communities secure land and resource rights, stop deforestation, find alternative livelihoods and foster gender equality.

Securing Cambodia's threatened Prey Lang landscape and the well-being of its people

Prey Lang is one of the world's most important biodiversity hotspots. Since 2006, we have supported communities to secure their tenure rights and ensure a healthy and resilient Prey Lang landscape.
