Consultancy announcements for EnABLE Project

As part of the ‘Enhancing Access to Benefits while Lowering Carbon Emissions’ (EnABLE) project, RECOFTC Lao PDR has received financial support from the World Bank to implement the Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) and the Value Chain and Market Assessment (VCMA) in the target villages of the project.

Provincial Project Assistant, RECOFTC Lao PDR (Xayaboury Province)

RECOFTC is implementing the ‘Enhancing Access to Benefits while Lowering Carbon Emissions’ (EnABLE) project in Lao PDR, funded by a multi-donor trust fund administered by the World Bank. The project aims to enhance the inclusion of target populations, particularly women and ethnic groups living in selected remote villages, in receiving carbon and non-carbon benefits from the Lao PDR Emissions Reduction Programme and its Benefit Sharing Plan (BSP). The project will support and complement the ongoing World Bank-funded Governance, Forest Landscape and Livelihoods (GFLL) project, which is being implemented by the Department of Forestry (DoF), Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAF). The project will run until December 2027.

RECOFTC Lao PDR invites applications for the position of Provincial Project Assistant based in Xayaboury province. The contract is issued on an annual basis, with the possibility of extension subject to annual performance assessment and includes a three-month probationary period. The appointment is expected to begin in September 2026.

Request for Proposals: Strategic communications and creative services for the Wyss Academy for Nature Hub Southeast Asia

The Wyss Academy for Nature Hub Southeast Asia (the Hub Southeast Asia) is hosted by RECOFTC. Through its role as a trusted convener, the Hub Southeast Asia brings together diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, academia, civil society, local communities and the private sector, to co-create practical and evidence-based solutions to complex social-ecological challenges. A distinctive strength of the Hub Southeast Asia is its ability to bridge different forms of knowledge, integrating academic research, policy expertise, and local and Indigenous knowledge to inform action and decision-making.

The Hub Southeast Asia seeks to engage a qualified communications agency to provide strategic communications and creative services between September 2026 and January 2027.
