Training and learning at RECOFTC
landscape

Since our founding in 1987, RECOFTC has developed the capacities of more than 25,000 people from over 30 countries in devolved forest management – from national policymakers, researchers and practitioners to local forest users.

Our training and learning courses are facilitated by experienced trainers. We use approaches built around experiential learning and participatory processes rooted in adult learning principles. Our programmes are action oriented, enabling participants to take their learning forward in making effective decisions and solving problems.

The Training and Learning team, while based in Bangkok, provides services across RECOFTC’s focal countries in the Asia-Pacific region. We are also available to lead training curricula development in other regions and locations.
