This is a self-paced online course hosted on the RECOFTC e-learning platform. You do not need meeting links and there are no live sessions. This course is not a webinar or an online forum that requires you to log in at a specific time or date.

The course’s opening date, starting date and closing date are listed on the course detail page. You can log in at any time during this period and complete the course at your own pace.

Once you activate your account (or sign in if your account is already active), you can begin learning from the course start date shown in the course announcement.

There is no need to wait for a live class. As soon as the course opens, you can sign in and start learning at your convenience.

No. The following courses are not open for enrolment and do not offer certificates. However, you can view and download the learning materials:

• Low-emission land use planning
• Carbon measurement and monitoring
• Social and environmental soundness
• Basic climate change

These courses open periodically throughout the year. Please check the course page for current availability or subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates when new courses open.

You can register for the next rollout of the course. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when enrolment opens again.

If enrolment is still open, you can join and begin the course. If enrolment has closed, you may sign up for the next rollout.

Yes. You must complete the course by the deadline specified on the course detail page. You will receive reminders to complete the course before the closing date. After this date, the course will be archived.

This is a self-paced course. We recommend dedicating about 2 to 3 hours per week to ensure you finish comfortably before the closing date.

After registering, you must activate your account via the email we send you. Check your inbox and spam/junk folder for an email from [email protected] and click the activation link. 

If you do not receive the email, try logging in with your username and password after one day. If manual activation is required, we may have activated your account by then.

For security, your account will be blocked if you enter the wrong password three times. It will automatically unlock after 14 hours.

Yes. You can use our Android or iOS app to take the course. For the best experience, especially with interactive activities, we recommend using a computer when possible.

Yes. The course includes a discussion forum, which you can access after enrolling.
You can use the forum to ask questions, share ideas and interact with other learners.

Yes, you can pause your learning at any time during the course period, as long as the course remains open. Your progress will be saved automatically by the platform.

Please make sure to complete all course requirements, including any offline workbook assignments, before the course closing date (listed on the course detail page) to receive a certificate. After the course closes, it will be archived. While you will still be able to view the course content, your progress will no longer be saved and you will not be eligible to receive a certificate.

Some resources, such as PDFs or supplementary materials, may be available for download and offline access. However, the full course, including interactive content and quizzes, must be completed online.

Your progress is automatically tracked by the platform. You can view your progress at any time in your course dashboard. Please note that some embedded tools or external activities may not display check marks, but your progress is still being recorded.

Do not worry if the green check mark does not appear. Some sections of the course use external tools that may not display completion indicators but your progress is still tracked by the system.

Any major updates or new content will be announced on the course’s announcement page or shared via email. Please check your email regularly to stay informed.

Yes. Learners who complete all required activities and pass the course will receive a certificate of completion.

Most courses require you to achieve at least 75 percent to receive the certificate. Please check the course details for specific requirements.

Certificates are emailed to you after you submit the required offline assignment. Certificates are not available in the course dashboard.
