This project aims to enhance the capacity of civil society, particularly local communities, to participate in inclusive and sustainable natural resource governance processes within the Nam Poui National Protected Area (NPA). A key objective is to strengthen their access to information on natural resource management and governance.

The project seeks to ensure that the Nam Poui NPA is effectively managed and developed with the active participation of guardian villages, transforming it into an ASEAN Heritage Park. This involves sustainably protecting biodiversity values while benefiting local communities through participatory management planning and decision-making.

The project is funded by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and operates in Xayaboury Province.
