This is a collaborative initiative aimed at improving land and forest resource governance in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Viet Nam. This builds on previous achievements to secure and promote equitable access to land and natural resources for smallholder farmers in the Mekong region. Key objectives include strengthening reform actor alliances, developing evidence-based policy options, supporting improved land governance implementation and enhancing gender equity in land governance across the target countries.

The project employs various strategies, including policy analysis and advocacy, capacity-building and promoting innovative land management approaches. This also aims to create lasting improvements in land tenure security and sustainable development practices throughout the Mekong region. This initiative contributes to fostering a more equitable and sustainable future for communities in the participating countries.
