This project aims to accelerate the transition to sustainable land-use practices across Southeast Asia. The initiative focuses on increasing sustainable investments in low-emission land use, biodiversity conservation and climate-resilient agriculture and forestry supply chains. It promotes the adoption of credible environmental, social and governance standards for these investments while enhancing inclusive and equitable benefit-sharing for local communities and smallholders.
Key activities include contributing to investment project screening, supporting community engagement processes, leading discussions on benefit-sharing models, advancing Indigenous Peoples and local communities engagement standards via regional platforms and developing the project's Gender and Inclusive Development Action Plan.
