This project focused on improving smallholder livelihoods and enhancing resilience to climate change and economic shocks. The initiative aimed to scale up the restoration of degraded forest landscapes and increase tree cover within agricultural areas. The project sought to create economic opportunities by promoting sustainable and diversified timber production and other forest-based value-added products.
Key activities included building the capacities of forest sector smallholders to produce timber and other value-added products, empowering them to adopt sustainable practices.
