This project aims to enhance urban climate resilience, environmental sustainability and well-being in Chiang Rai and Surat Thani provinces of Thailand. The initiative focuses on improving urban planning capacities through climate modeling, applying Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and developing climate-resilient urban planning strategies. These efforts are intended to serve as national examples for replication across Thailand.

Key project outputs include developing climate-inclusive risk and vulnerability assessments, designing and implementing NbS in urban areas, mainstreaming NbS standards into local and provincial development policies and building capacity for climate-resilient urban development.
