Change beyond supply chains: Driving positive landscape transformation through inclusive business models in Viet Nam

This baseline report details the challenges facing coffee farmers in Lam Dong province, Viet Nam. Despite rising coffee prices, farmers in the province are constrained by climate change impacts, soil degradation and insecure land tenure. Our study found that farmers remain tied to high-interest, informal loans from local buyers, undermining new cooperatives. Potential solutions involve strengthening local enterprises and promoting agroforestry to build environmental and economic resilience.
