Climate change, livelihood resilience, and gender: An intersectional analysis of Vietnam’s forest-dependent communities

This article presents an intersectional analysis of how climate change affects the livelihoods and resilience of two ethnic monitory forest-dependent communities in Viet Nam, with a focus on gender, social inequalities and geographic context. The study highlights the critical roles women play in forestry and their impact on household well-being and food security. It emphasizes the need for tailored and inclusive adaptation strategies, advocate for climate actions that prioritize gender equality and to enhance women’s resilience.
