From abandoned fields to medicinal herbs: The story of the Tay Poong people

The video documents how the Tay Poong community in Phong village, Viet Nam shift from subsistence farming to cultivating white basil on abandoned land. Supported by researchers from Vinh University and local authorities, the model improves incomes, strengthens women’s participation and offers a practical pathway towards sustainable livelihoods and forest landscape governance.
