2023–2024 was a year of action and growing impact. Across Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Viet Nam, we worked directly with 21,827 individuals, 36.5 percent of whom were women and 37.18 percent Indigenous Peoples. 

Training activities alone engaged 3,546 participants, with 62 percent showing improved knowledge after completion.

We contributed to the global and regional discourse on our thematic goals and expanded access to information through 315 communication products, including publications, training materials, research reports and toolkits. With almost 45,000 social media followers, we had 22.6 million total impressions and a total engagement of 149,000.  

We worked with 285 partners across financial, formal, non-financial and informal collaborations, reflecting the value we place on diverse, locally rooted partnerships. By extending support to 43 community-based enterprises, we are supporting local communities’ efforts to generate income from sustainable forest-based activities.  

These numbers reflect more than outputs. They capture our work with local communities in our forest landscapes, guided by community knowledge and priorities and our respect for their rights.
